Welcome to the Farming Connection, an online bulletin-board service of the NFU New Farm Project. The Farming Connection is a way to connect people who are either offering or looking for farming opportunities in the Kingston area. The idea for this service came from many different conversations since the start of the New Farm Project: we need a way for farmers to share the opportunities they have to offer and for others to share the opportunities they are seeking.

You can view all posts to learn about different farming opportunities available in the area, from internships and farmland to workshops and business opportunities. The postings are organized by category. (If you are specifically looking for CRAFT internships, visit the CRAFT Kingston page.) All communication and arrangements regarding these opportunities are to be done directly with the person offering/seeking the opportunity. As such, please be sure to include contact information with any posting you submit.

To post a farming opportunity, please send the text, images and contact information to the NFU New Farm Project coordinator by email or by post and it will then be posted within one week of submission. The same goes for any changes that need to be made to a posting. There is a limit of 500 words and one image per posting.
